What's in the TytoCare Box
Your TytoCare Medical Exam Kit includes the following components:
- TytoCare Device: Features an LCD touch screen, rechargeable battery, camera, sensors, and a connector for mounting add-on devices.
- Stethoscope: Add-on used for heart and lung auscultations and heart rate measurement.
- Otoscope: Add-on specifically for ear examinations.
- Tongue Depressor: Includes a reusable holder and blades in two sizes (2 adult and 2 child blades) for throat exams.
- Tray: A holder used to organize the device and add-ons during examinations.
- Disposables: Includes 5 adult and 5 child disposable ear specula.
- Carrying Case: Stores all components and features a top mobile stand for your device during online visits.
- Charging Cable: Found inside the smaller white box with the disposables.
Charging and Maintenance
Proper battery care is essential for the longevity and functionality of your device:
- Power On: The device arrives pre-charged; if it does not power on, connect it to the charging cable.
- Charging Constraints: You cannot perform exams while the device is charging.
- Charging Indicators:
- G1 Devices: Orange indicates charging; Green indicates fully charged.
- G2 Devices: Purple indicates charging; Blue indicates fully charged.
- Port Identification:
- For G1, ensure the cable is in the charging outlet, not the larger headphone outlet.
- For G2, use the USB-C port located at the bottom of the device.
- Long-term Storage: Re-charge the device at least once every 3 months to prevent shortening the battery life.
