Wi-Fi Network Requirements
- Make sure you have an internet connection before logging in to the TytoApp.
- Always connect to a Wi-Fi network and use a location with a strong signal, such as near your router.
- For security reasons, a Wi-Fi password is mandatory.
- Web connection proxies requiring acceptance of terms and conditions are not supported.
- If you experience poor video or sound quality, verify your connection meets minimum requirements:
- Wireless Standard: IEEE 802.11 N (recommended) or G.
- Frequency Band: G1 (2.4 GHz only) or G2 (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).
- Security/Encryption: WPA, WPA2 / TKIP, AES.

Connectivity Tests
Internet Bandwidth Test (TytoApp)
- Click the Menu icon in the top-left corner.
- Select Test Connection.
- Click Internet Bandwidth Test.
RSSI Signal Test (Tyto Device)
- Swipe down on the device screen.
- Go to Settings, then Wi-Fi Settings.
- Click your connected network and select Network Properties to view the RSSI.
RSSI Signal Ratings
